Uses of Blue vitriol are:

1. It is an antiseptic and antifungal agent.

a. Used as an electrolyte in copper refining and copper plating and aluminium plating.
b. Electrolytic production of copper compounds.
3. It is an ingredient for inks and dyes.
4. It is used for etching agent for engraving.
