Solution

Lymph is a fluid containing infection fighting white blood cells, throughout the body. Lymphatic system is a network of organs, vessels and lymph nodes situated throughout the body. Blood is pumped throughout the body by the heart, but the lymph is moved along through the normal function of the body. The movement of lymph is in a single direction. It contains protein , salt, glucose , water , fat and white blood cells (WBC). Normally it doesn't contain red blood cells (RBC ). It's responsible for the immunity of a person.
Functions :-

It trap the viruses , bacteria , cancerous cells , other disease causing substance and help in the elimination of these from the body.

Lymph is responsible for the removal of interstitial fluid from tissues.

It absorbs and transports fatty acids and fats as chyle from the digestive system.

It transports white blood cells to and from the lymph nodes into the bones.

Immune function is helped by two kinds of white blood cells. The “B Lymphocytes ” (they develop in bone marrow) produce antibodies. The “T - Lymphocytes ” (they develop in the thymus gland) are responsible for a variety of other immune responses.T cells are involved in cell-mediated immunity, whereas B cells are primarily responsible for humoral immunity (relating to antibodies).
