Solution

Cnidaria:

  1. Cnidarians are soft-bodied, radially symmetrical creatures that live in aquatic environments.
  2. Their common names are sea anemones, jellyfish, corals and hydras.
  3. They are distinguished by the presence of nematocysts with cnidoblasts on the body and tentacles.
  4. Cnidoblasts, or stinging cells, found at the tips of tentacles grab and immobilise prey.
  5. Tentacles move the captured food to the mouth.
  6. Tentacles also protect cnidarians from predators.
  7. This is the defining feature of Cnidarians.
