The function of endocrine system is to release the hormones as and when required on the perception of stimulus or feed back mechanisms. These hormones travel via blood and control the metabolic activities at the sites of different tissues. It is made up of many endocrine glands as follows:

3. Pineal Gland
4. Thyroid Gland
5. Parathyroid gland
6. Adrenal gland
7. Ovaries
8. Testes
9. Kidneys
