Solution
Scrotum:
The scrotum is a pocket-like structure that holds the important organs of the male reproductive system.
It is divided into two compartments that are distinguished by a ridge called raphe.
Each side of the scrotum usually consists of a testicle, epididymis, spermatic cord, and cremaster muscle.
Testicles are the male reproductive organs, the epididymis is anarrow, coiled tube that helps in the attachment of each of the testicles, the spermatic cord is a bundle of nerves that connects the testicles, cremaster muscle covers the testicles.
Functions of the scrotum:
It protects the testicles and the male reproductive organs.
It also aids in maintaining a cool temperature for the production of sperms.
