Solution
Greenhouse effect is the phenomenon in which the earth's atmosphere traps the heat from the sun and prevents it from escaping into outer space. Gases like CO2, methane, ozone, CFC are called greenhouse gases.
The heat from the sun after being absorbed by the earth is absorbed by the greenhouse gases and then radiated back to the earth. So the environment of the earth becomes warm. Due to the increased greenhouse effect, the global climate became warmer and it is termed global warming.
