What is the Haversian Canal?

Solution
Haversian canal:
Haversian canals are a network of tubes found in compact bones.
Other types of connective tissue and nerve tissue lack the Haversian canal.
This allows the bone to receive oxygen and nutrients without becoming vascularized.
These canals also communicate with bone cells via canaliculi, which are specific connections.
Mineral salts can be deposited and stored more easily with this link.
