Solution
Domestic waste is the waste
generated by human dwellings. It is also called as residential waste. Sources
of domestic waste includes food wastes, paper, cardboard, plastics, textiles,
leather, yard wastes, wood, glass, metals, ashes, special wastes (e.g., bulky
items, consumer electronics, white goods, batteries, oil, tires), and household
hazardous wastes.
When the concentrations of
oxides of nitrogen and sulphur increases due to various reactions among the
wastes, rain water gets mixed up with these oxides to form acid rains.
