Solution

The correct option is C Post translational modification of proteins
A Golgisome or dictyosome has a central stack of commonly 4 to 8 curved but parallel membrane-lined narrow sacs called as cisternae. They are similar to smooth endoplasmic reticulum. Cisternae bear a network of tubules and vesicles on their outer edges. Golgi apparatus receives materials from the cytosol and endoplasmic reticulum in the form of transitional vesicles. The latter fuse with the cisternae of convex forming face. Both membranes and biochemicals flow to the distal cisternae for elaboration. One of the important processes occurring in Golgi complex is the post-translational modifications of the proteins like proper folding, addition or removal of signal peptides, glycosylation, post-translational modifications of amino acids etc.
So, the correct answer is 'Post translational modification of proteins'
