We know that, Density = massvolume
where: m = mass of material
V = volume of material
Note that the volume of a cylinder is given by
V=πr2×h
where: r = radius
h = height
Substituting the values, we get:
V=3.14×[(2.502)2]×5.50V=26.98cm3As,D=MV
Note that ml is equivalent to cm3.
Thus,
11.4=m26.98m=11.4×26.98m=307.57g
