Dear Student,
The semi-permeable membrane used during reverse osmosis are made of cellulose acetate or aromatic polyamide.
The membranes are made in form of thin sheets deposited on the surface of polysulphone which in turn is kept on the fabric sheet.This setup gives desirable results.
