  2. Emulsion is the non-homogenous mixture that contains the dispersed phase and the dispersion medium.
  3. Basically emulsion is of two types oil in water and water in oil emulsion.
  4. Oil in water: In this, the colloid particles of oil are dispersed in water which means oil is the dispersed phase and water is the dispersion medium.
  5. The stability can be achieved through one emulsifier.
  6. Water in oil: In this, the colloid particles of water molecules are dispersed in oil which means water is the dispersed phase and oil is the dispersion medium.
  7. Examples are as follows: Cheese in which the dispersed phase is liquid and the dispersion medium is solid, Milk (dispersed phase and dispersion medium both are liquid)
