propel means "to push something forward" ,,so whenever cilia are present, it provide locomotion by pushing some materials towards some destination ,,,in this statement cilia are present in respiratory tract which push the mucous and dust particle toward larynx and finally to buccal cavity so that we can remove it through mouth
