Zoospores
are produced in zoosporangium.
They are the asexual motile spores that are able to move via swimming.
Flagellum anchored in the cell with basal body.
Flagella are long slender structures extending from the cell and surrounded by a cell membrane
Zoospores encyst withdraw or lose flagellum and rapidly form a cell wall.
Cyst then germinates to form rhizoids and enlarges.
Zoospores are found in bacteria, fungi and protists.
