Control and coordination involve proper regulation and synchronization of different body parts to respond appropriately against an external or internal stimulus.
Plant control and coordination are carried out by specialized diffusible chemicals called plant hormones or phytohormones.
These hormones are synthesized by different tissues in minimal amounts and get transported to a specific part where it stimulates a physiological change. These hormones either promote or inhibit growth in plants.
