What is the molecular formula and structural formula of a cyclic hydrocarbon whose one molecule contains 8 hydrogen atoms ?

The molecular formula of a cyclic hydrocarbon is $C_{4} H_{8}$ , as it satisfies the general formula of a cyclic hydrocarbon, i.e. $C_{n} H_{2 n}$ . Here, the number of hydrogen atoms is already given as 8, i.e. 2n = 8.
Therefore, n = $\frac{8}{2}$ = 4. Here, n represents the number of carbon atoms. Therefore, the molecular formula is $C_{4} H_{8}$ .
The structural formula of the cyclic hydrocarbon $C_{4} H_{8}$ is as follows:
