Both lysosomes and peroxisomes are single membrane cell organelles.
They both contain enzymes that participate in various metabolic reactions.
Lysosomes contain digestive enzymes that digest food particles, viruses etc.
Peroxisomes are involved in fatty acid oxidation and have enzymes that acts on them to breakdown fatty acids.
