  3. This is because the body does not have enough blood-clotting proteins/factors.
  4. It is a sex-linked inheritance. The faulty gene is mostly located on X-chromosome.
  5. As in males, only one faulty X is enough to cause disease as compared to females who have two X- chromosomes, males are almost always affected by the disease.
  6. Females in most of the cases are carriers.
