The Most Common Bleeding Disorder is - Haemophilia.
It is a condition where a wound does not heal in a normal way and takes a longer time to stop the bleeding.
This is because the body does not have enough blood-clotting proteins/factors.
It is a sex-linked inheritance. The faulty gene is mostly located on X-chromosome.
As in males, only one faulty X is enough to cause disease as compared to females who have two X- chromosomes, males are almost always affected by the disease.
