Solution

The movement of plant due to touch is called Nastic Movements. These are non directional movements which takes place neither towards nor away from the stimulus. The best example of nastic movement is folding and drooping of leaves of ‘touch me not’ plant when its leaves are touched with fingers.

Thigmotropism – It is a directional movement in plants in response to touch. For e.g. the plant tendrils climb around any support which they touch.
