Solution

Pancreas are the heterocrine glands. They release both the enzymes from the exocrine part and the hormones from the endocrine part. The endocrine part is called the Islets of Langerhans. This part contains alpha-cells that release a hormone called glucagon and beta cells that release a hormone called insulin. Both of these hormones regulate the blood sugar level. Glucagon raises the level of sugar in blood and insulin lowers the level of sugar in blood.
