  1. At Kalibangan and Balathal, in Rajasthan one can find the ruins of Indus Valley Civilization.
  2. Kalibangan is in Hanumangarh district and Balathal site is in Udaipur district. Kalibangan was a major provincial capital of the Indus Valley Civilization.
  3. There are 3 National Tiger Reserves in Rajasthan. They are Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur, Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve in Kota and Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar.
  4. Keoladeo National Park of Bharatpur is well known for birds. It is a World Heritage site.
  5. Matsya Kingdom of the Vedic civilization of India is located in Rajasthan.
  6. India tested its nuclear bombs in Pokhran, a village in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan.
