Although the Earth is considered a blue planet. Our water resources are limited and it is unevenly distributed. It is nearly impossible to do any activity without this precious resource. Water conservation is the need of the hour and some of the methods include.

• Develop wide-ranging techniques to harvest rainwater, groundwater, river water.
• and flood water in keeping with the local ecological conditions and their water needs.
• Avoiding water wastage at all levels.
• Using eco-friendly chemicals.
• Adopting organic farming techniques as much as possible.
• Adopting water-conserving techniques of irrigation, e.g.: drip irrigation in arid areas.
• Sufficient water percolation facilities should be implemented to aid in raising the water table level.

Thus, water conservation should be implemented on a daily basis at both individual and organisational levels otherwise it is estimated that by 2025, nearly two billion people will live in absolute water scarcity.
