Ozone layer :
The ozone layer is the protective layer that is concentrated in the stratosphere, which is about 15–30 kilometers above the Earth’s surface.
The thickness of the ozone layer is about 5 km and sometimes it is called the ozonosphere.
The reason that ozone is termed a protective layer is that it absorbs the harmful Ultraviolet rays from the sun.
The Ultraviolet rays are emitted from the sun, if a living organism is exposed to these rays can cause damage to the body.
