The correct option is B

22 + 1 cm


To find the perimeter of the figure, we need to know the following :

LO , OR , RM and ML

LO = KL = 12 cm (Sides of square LOJK)

PS = SR = 2 cm (Sides of square PQRS)

Diagonal PR = 22+22 = 22 cm

OR = Half of PR = 12×22 = 2 cm

RM = 12×2 = 1 cm

ML = KL = 12 cm

Perimeter = LO + OR + RM + ML

= 12 + 2 + 1 + 12

= 22 + 2 + 1

= 2 + 2 + 1

= 22 + 1 cm
