Question

What is the Ph of Water(H20)?

Open in App
Solution

pH of water (H2O) is 7. It’s a neutral value. Acid has less than pH 7 and Alkali or base has more than 7.

Water has both acid and alkali molecule.

(H+) + (OH-)= H2O.

So it has the neural value of pH.

When the pH of water goes less than 6.5, it will have minerals, copper, etc.

When the pH of water goes beyond 8.5, it will call as hard water.
