What is the physical state of liquified petroleum gas when used as a fuel?

Open in App
Solution

Liquified petroleum gas is stored in cylinders/containers under compression and is in liquid-vapour equilibrium state. For example LPG cylinder of home supply contains liquid LPG.
When a regulated supply opened in air, it converts back into gas form and used as a fuel in its gaseous form.
