  • The Preamble is the preface of the Constitution of India.
  • It lays down the goals and objectives of the Indian Constitution.
The Constitution of India aims to achieve justice for all its citizens. This includes-
  • Social Justice- This aims to end discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, gender or economic status.
  • Economic Justice- This aims to provide a decent source of livelihood to every citizen of the country.
  • Political Justice- This gives every adult citizen aged 18 or above to vote and elect their representatives irrespective of their caste, religion, gender or economic background.
