Solution
Synthesis of ATP:
When cells (in chloroplasts and mitochondria) produce ATP, this is referred to as phosphorylation.
The attachment of a phosphate group to a molecule or an ion is known as phosphorylation.
Because phosphorylation is a fundamental step in sugar metabolism, protein and enzyme function, and energy storage and release, it's important in biochemistry and molecular biology.
NADP (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, abbreviated NADP+) gets generated along with ATP during the light reaction or photochemical phase.
They are used in the dark reaction or Calvin cycle to produce sugar molecules (final product).
