Fertilization, also known as generative fertilization, syngamy, and insemination, is the fusion of gametes that results in the formation of a new unicellular organism or offspring and the beginning of its growth.
Fertilization takes place when a sperm merges with the female act all through intercourse and forms an egg, which is then implanted in the female's uterus.
The sperm enters the fallopian tube, penetrates the pleura layer of the ovum (female egg), and fuses with it, resulting in the formation of a zygote (fertilized egg).
