Solution
Gastrulation:
Gastrulation refers to the formation of the Gastrula.
Gastrula is an embryonic stage where multiple layers of cells are observed.
During the development of the embryo, when single-celled Blastula converts into Gastrula, then the process is referred to as Gastrulation.
The rearrangement of cells is observed during gastrulation.
Hence, it is an important event of embryonic development.
In gastrulation, three germ layers are formed due to rearrangement and differentiation of cells.
This leads to organ generation in embryos.
