What is the product of two functions?

Open in App
Solution

When two functions are multiplied together, their result is also a function.

Assume there are two functions as fx=x-3 and gx=x+4.

fx×gx=x-3x+4=x2+x-12 which is a function of x.

So, their product will be a function.
