When two functions are multiplied together, their result is also a function.

Assume there are two functions as $\mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=\left(\mathrm{x}-3\right)$ and $\mathrm{g}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=\left(\mathrm{x}+4\right)$.

$\mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)\times \mathrm{g}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=\left(\mathrm{x}-3\right)\left(\mathrm{x}+4\right)={\mathrm{x}}^2+\mathrm{x}-12$ which is a function of $x$.

So, their product will be a function.
