  1. The displacement is represented by the area under a velocity-time graph.
  2. The displacement of an object moving at a constant velocity is equal to the product of velocity and time, i.e. S=Vt, where S is the displacement, V is the velocity and t is time.
  3. When velocity is negative, the area under the curve would also be negative.
