  1. The near point of a normal eye is 25 cm and the far point is at infinity.
  2. We can see the moon and the stars because our lens can form the images of these distant objects on the retina.

Step 2: Range of vision

  1. A normal eye can see objects clearly from a distance of infinity (far point of the eye) to up to a near point distance of 25 cm.
  2. The distance between the near point and far point of the eye is known as the range of vision.
