The correct option is A $2 : 1$
If $r$ be the radius of a sphere and that be same for a hemisphere also.
Then the volume of the sphere is $\frac{4}{3} π r^{3}$ and that of the hemisphere is $\frac{2}{3} π r^{3}$ .
Now their ratio of volumes is
$\frac{\frac{4}{3} π r^{3}}{\frac{2}{3} π r^{3}}$
$= \frac{2}{1}$ .
So the ratio is $2 : 1$ .
