Dear Student,
Occupational structure is the distribution of population according to their occupations. This is divided into 4 types from primary to quaternary. The occupational structure is directly proportional to the development and positively related to each other. People of primary structure can only satisfy their basic needs and have a basic living but can hardly contribute to the economic development. Whereas in secondary and tertiary structure, people can contribute more to the economic development. People from quaternary occupations can enhance their efficiency and more likely to contribute to the economic growth.
