Open in App
Solution

The relation between mass (m) and weight (W) of a body is given by:

  1. Weight=mass×gravityi.e. W=mg.
  2. The weight of a body depends on mass and gravity.
  3. The weight of the body can change it is not constant as the value of g changes from place to place.
  4. Mass of a body is constant quantity it remains the same.
  5. The unit of mass is Kg but the unit of weight is Newton (N).

Hence, the relation between mass (m) and weight (W) of a body is W=mg.
