What is the relationship between magnification and focal length of spherical mirror?

In the spherical mirror the magnification is given as

Magnification, $m=\frac{-v}{u}$ --------(1)

From the Mirror formula

$\frac{1}{v}+\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{f}$

Or, $v=\frac{uf}{u-f}$

Putting value of v in equation 1

Magnification $m=\frac{f}{f-u}$

Hence this is the relation between the magnification and focal length of the spherical mirror.
