2. It associates with the apoenzyme forming conjugate enzyme or holoenzyme.
3. It assists in the removal of a product of a chemical reaction.
4. It bridges contact between the enzyme and the substrate.
5. The majority of these coenzymes are composed of water-soluble vitamins C and B.
6. Some examples of coenzyme are: riboflavin, thiamine, pyridoxine, nicotinamide, etc.
