Solution

  • Pancreatic juice contains three enzymes- trypsin, amylase and lipase .Trypsin breaks the protein chains, amylase breaks down carbohydrates and lipase breaks fats into fatty acids and glycerol.
  • Hydrochloric acid is an essential acid in the stomach. It helps destroy bacteria, as well as other harmful species. It also works as a preservative for food. HCl converts pepsinogen which is not active into pepsin to metabolize proteins in our stomach.
  • Bile juice is secreted by the liver. It is a yellowish color fluid. The main function of bile juice is to digest the lipid molecules and to activate the lipase enzymes.
