What is the role of immune system

Dear Student,

Immune system is the defense mechanism of our body. It is responsible for fighting against any foreign particle or infections introduced to the body. Immunity of our body works by providing us physical barrier for the entry of pathogen like skin, tears in eyes etc. And by producing an army to fight against the pathogen. This army includes T-lymphocytes, B-lymphocytes, macrophages etc.
