Council of Ministers:
The Chief Minister in consultation with the Governor forms the Council of Ministers with the members of their party.
The term of office is of 5 years.
Role of Chief Minister:
The Chief Minister appoints or removes the Council of Ministers.
They direct and supervise the work of ministers.
They are responsible for framing policies and schemes for the welfare of the state.
They preside over the meetings of the Council of Ministers.
