Open in App
Solution

Solution:
The main role of the Prime Minister is to act as the Spokesperson for the Government. Every government policy order is scrutinized in the Parliament. So, the Prime Minister’s job is to defend the actions of the ruling government. It also includes handling conflict.
It is also the duty of the Prime Minister to advise the President on summoning as well as proroguing the Parliament. If the Lok sabha has to be dissolved, it can only happen once the Prime Minister advises the President.
