Millipede is addressed as Kan Khajura in Hindi. Millipedes are the class of arthropoda that have two pairs of legs each segment. They belongs to class diplopoda under phylum arthropoda.
They are detrivores that feed on dead and decayed matter such as leaves with only small population that is predatory.
Narceus americanus is amongst the most common form ranging 100-mm and is black and red in color.
