point (0°C) without any change in the temperature is called latent heat of fusion. OR 2) The amount of heat energy required to convert one kg of a solid into a liquid at its melting
point without any rise in temperature under atmospheric pressure.

Step 2: S.I unit of latent heat of fusion: Is joules per kilogram (J/Kg).
