What is the slope of the line shown?

Open in App
Solution

We know that, slope of the line segment whose end point coordinates are (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by
y2y1x2x1

Here, (x1,y1)(2,0) and (x2,y2)(0,4)
Slope of line segment AB=400(2)
=40+2
=42
=2

Hence, the slope of the line AB is 2.
