  1. Mycoplasma gallisepticum is a parasite bacteria with the size from 0.2 to 0.3 micrometer is known to be smallest bacteria.
  2. Mycoplasma gallisepticum are gram-negative, coccoid, ovoid and elongated pear-shaped cells that are bounded only by a plasma membrane ,usually non-motile, lacks cell-wall, and are the capable of self-replication.
  3. It is the causative agent of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) in chickens and infectious sinusitis in turkeys, chickens, pigeons and passerine birds.
  4. Mycoplasma attach to the epithelial cells of host body , such as in the respiratory tract, which causes cell damage and inflammatory response.
  5. Mycoplasma found in he worldwide specially in the poultry mostly infects the chickens.
