The correct option is A

(3, 2)


2x+3y=12…(I)

x-y=1…(II)

From the equation II we get,

x=y+1

Substituting this value of x in equation I we get,

[2(y+1)]+[3y]=12

⇒ 5y=10

⇒ y=2

Substituting this value of y in equation II we get,

x-2=1

⇒ x=3

Hence the solution is (3, 2).
