Open in App
Solution

Approximate Normal velocity at different levels in km/h in healthy adult person at rest is

Aorta - 1.44 to 2.16
Major Aortic branches (Arteries) - 0.72 to 1.8
Arterioles - 0.18 to 0.72
Capillaries - < 0.18
Venules - 0.18 to 0.36
Veins - 0.36 to 0.72
Vena Cavae - 0.72 to 1.08

Generally, veins are having less velocity because of passive blood movement.
