Solution

Dear student,
Biogenesis means originating from other living forms. The theory of biogenesis proposed that all life originated from pre-existing life i.e formation of organic molecules from inorganic molecules. Miller performed experiments to proved the formation of organic molecules from inorganic molecules. They artificially created the conditions of primitive earth where reducing atmospheric conditions were created with high temperature and lightening. Electric discharge was passed through the flask containing methane, ammonia hydrogen and water vapour at 8000 degree Celsius resulting in the formation of amino acids, nitrogenous bases, sugar etc. which proved the formation of organic molecules from inorganic molecules.
