The correct option is C 498.35cm2

We know, the total surface area of a right circular cone =πr(r+l).

Given, base radius r=7cm.

Also, height h=14cm.


Then, slant height l=h2+r2

l=(142+72

l=245cm=75 cm.

Now substitute the value in above equation, we have,

the total surface area =π×7(7+75)

=227×7×7(1+5)

=154(1+5)=498.35cm2.

Therefore, option C is the correct.
